H100FIX — The Dollar Fix

What should you write in the contract?

Gold has the LBMA fix; oil has Brent. The H100-hour now has a daily dollar fixing: one $/hr number assembled from the three tiers the market actually clears at — big-cloud, neocloud, marketplace — with the transacted cross-check printed beside it. Same engine as the KH100 index: the index prints change, the fix prints the level — the number for a budget, a model, or a term sheet.

Why a fix
An index answers "which way is it moving." A contract, a budget or a loan covenant needs a level: dollars per GPU-hour, today, quotable and reconstructable.
KOPS H100FIX
The weighted composite of the three tier medians, printed in $/hr — 40% big-cloud, 35% neocloud, 25% marketplace, frozen weights, daily from a self-archived book of ~600 offers.
Valuable for
Anyone writing compute into a contract: training budgets, GPU-backed lending, capacity resale, revenue models. Budget at the fix; negotiate toward the marketplace tier.
Live fixing

Dollars, not basis points.

The fix since July 2026 in actual $/hr. The pale line is the neocloud tier's real dollar history back to January 2025 — context, never spliced: you can't rebase dollars without lying about dollars.

Live tape

Repriced every minute.

The marketplace leg is polled every 60 seconds; the slower legs refresh at their own natural speed and their age is published, never hidden. The tape moves only when listed prices actually change — a thin book reshuffling is not a price move. Once a day at 16:00 UTC the tape is collapsed into the official fixing: a time-weighted median over the preceding hour, so no single sample can set the day's number.

Reading it. Today's fix is /hr. The same GPU-hour quotes at a big cloud and clears near on marketplaces; the fix is the defensible middle. For the direction-of-travel version of this exact composite, read KH100.
Term structure

The fix, out the curve.

What committing buys you: neocloud provider-median $/hr from spot to 36 months. This is the curve to price a multi-year compute contract against.

a downward-sloping curve prices in depreciation; an inverted one prices in scarcity
Index methodology

One engine, two quotes.

01

The level

H100FIX is the weighted geometric mean of the three tier medians, in natural units: $/GPU-hr. Same legs, same frozen 40/35/25 weights, same ≤14-day carry governance as KH100 — computed from the same tick at the same instant, so the fix and the index can never disagree.

02

The identity

FIX = KH100 ÷ 100 × $3.0279 — the base-day fix (2026-07-03). One methodology, two projections: quote KH100 to talk about change, quote H100FIX to talk about money.

03

Honest dollars

Dollar levels are never spliced or rebased. Pre-July-2026 history is the neocloud tier's real dollars alone, drawn as its own labeled line. Ornn's transacted print rides beside the fix as the market-truth cross-check — never averaged in.

H100FIX = A0.40 × B0.35 × C0.25  $/GPU-hr
big-cloud × neocloud × marketplace — the dollar fixing for the compute age.
